Having spent the last 17 days in the beautiful country of Greece, I am so excited to share my experiences, from good to bad and everything in between. I utilized EF College Break for this trip. For those unfamiliar with EF College Break, it is a company for 18-28 year olds (not necessarily in college). They plan the itinerary for each trip and the fee includes flights, transportation to and from different cities/locations, breakfast, and most day to day activities. There are optional excursions offered for an additional fee and lunches and dinners are not covered. While you could certainly execute the trips yourself for cheaper, it is a great way to feel safe solo traveling with a peace of mind knowing you don’t have to worry about too much. I used EF College Break this past winter for their Tour of Eastern Europe. The Tour of Eastern Europe trip was my first time traveling completely alone and it was a wonderful experience. For this trip through Greece, my best friend joined me. In total, there were 21 people on my trip. EF offers trips around the world and I certainly recommend them to anyone who falls in their age group.

From the Acropolis to donkey rides to some of the biggest party islands in the world, these 17 days were one non stop adventure. I learned so much about the Greek culture and its people. They love ice cream and French fries, you’re not allowed to flush toilet paper on any of the islands aside from Crete, and no one goes to the bars until at least 2am. So let's start where my adventure began.
